Stephanie Palmeri is a Partner with SoftTech VC, where she invests in next-generation commerce & marketplaces, mobile services & infrastructure, SaaS, consumer health, and EdTech startups – including Poshmark, True & Co, Clever, Handshake, Grovo, Panorama Education, Lantern, and ClassDojo. Stephanie currently represents SoftTech as board member for Chariot, Educents, Envoy, Fatherly, and Spoon University and as board observer for numerous investments. She previously served as a board member for Niche (acquired by Twitter).
Stephanie has over a decade of experience working at the intersection of marketing and technology. Prior to joining SoftTech VC in 2011, Stephanie was active in New York City’s emergent VC and entrepreneurial community, where she was an Associate with early-stage venture fund NYC Seed and launched the NYC SeedStart incubator, one of the first high-touch incubator of its kind in the city. Additionally, Stephanie worked with wine ecommerce startup Lot18 on business development and marketing initiatives. Stephanie’s early experiences include Accenture’s market data practice working with investment banking clients like JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley, as well as several years with Estee Lauder’s Clinique brand focused on marketing and sales initiatives for alternative distribution channels. Later, Stephanie was an early member of a startup building enterprise sales and marketing applications for global customers including SAP AG and Diageo.
Stephanie holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University with joint degrees in Marketing and Management Information Systems.
